Worship
In my newsletter this week I would like to ask what does the word “Worship” mean to you? To many, the word means to sing, to praise, to pay reverence to someone? According to Google, it means: “the feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity.” In today’s society, I believe that the idea of worship seems to lead people to things opposite of the actual definition listed above. Oftentimes, humanity worships things such as: money, material items and even idols-objects or people who are not God. Does this sound like what you are doing when you worship the Heavenly Father or would you say you lean more towards worshiping things/idols? Another question would be – do worshiping idols offer eternal life? Many times, we can take our focus off Jesus and look towards worldly things. As hard as it is to make time to worship with busy schedules, I will encourage you to step out in faith and embrace opportunities to worship God. There are many ways you can do this and if you would like to discuss further, I would love to walk you through it. Are you ready to take this step in obedience?
But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”
John 4:23-24

Reflection Questions:
When you think of the word worship, who is the first person who comes to mind?
What does that person provide for you?
Does that person secure your place in Heaven?
Bonus: Great song (if you are interested) - When you worship do you see “Great Things”
